The excitement in the gaming world is about a new patch launched for Valheim. This patch has been
responsible for introducing two big changes to the game. The news flow could be termed both good and
bad. Let us discuss the good part first and it is about Maypoles. Earlier they could only be located in
abandoned villages in the Meadows biome. The big surprise we have is that they are now craftable. A
player now has the scope to build the own Maypole in this game.
This is just the news update, which players would desire to hear. This is because Maypoles can offer
additional comfort while resting within their range. Comfort is always something special that players
desire because it impacts the “rested effect” positively. There is a boost up in XP gains, health, and
stamina regeneration rates. It is just simple that the more comfortable a player is he/she benefits more
from the “rested” boost. This is the good news, which we have to present and there is also some bad news
    in store.
There is also some hard work on offer for players following this patch change. There are some changes
introduced in Monster AI. The change is that the monsters are more likely to attack structures when they
cannot get access to players. The bosses will no longer run away from players and greydwarfs are better
    at throwing too.
The patch changes have gone live on Steam and the reactions from players have been mixed. Let us
discuss the negatives impacts and a section of the users have found the greydwarfs to be irritating. They
go on to say that making them more, will only lead to the annoying factor increasing. They say that in no
way, it improves the game. This is not all and there have been some complaints regarding the big updates.
It is due to this negative feedback Developer Iron Gate was forced to decide to push back the update
roadmap. Four updates are being planned and the first of them should see a late summer launch.
There are also some interesting updates to follow for players and the introduction of Random save big-fix
is an example. They solve an unusual case of world corruption at the point of shutting down. The long-
forgotten Blob event was enabled. It has been a mix of good and bad developments in the patch notes for
    this game.
