Veteran teams like iQOO Soul, Godlike Esports, and Team Tamilas dominated the first day of the RA Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Champions Gala Grand Finals. 

With 22 and 18 finishes, respectively, Rudra "Spower" and Nakul "Nakul" Sharma of iQOO Soul dominated the finish leaderboards.

A total of INR 6.5 lakhs will be up for grabs for 16 teams competing in the RA Esports BGMI Champions Gala Grand Finals.

Match Summary Of RA Esports BGMI Champions Gala Grand Finals Day 1

Match 1 Erangel: To begin the Grand Finals, iQOO Soul won a whopping 26-point chicken supper. With seven finishes, Nakul "Nakul" Sharma of iQOO Soul was named the game's Most Valuable Player (MVP). With 10 points, Carnival Gaming finished in second place. Team XSpark scored nine points, finished third, and had strong rotations. Godlike Esports and Team Tamilas tied for fifth place with eight points apiece. Reckoning Esports was eliminated without a point in the early stages.

Match 2: Miramar: With 19 points, iQOO Soul won consecutive chicken feasts. With 12 points apiece, Global Esports and Medal Esports finished second and third, respectively. With four finishes, Medal Esports' Darklord emerged as the match's MVP. Reckoning Esports scored 10 points, 8 of which came from finishes, and finished fourth while displaying aggressive performance. Hyderabad Hydras earned nine points and finished sixth. With one point apiece, Carnival Gaming and Team Zero were eliminated in the first round.

Team Tamilas won a 21-point chicken meal in the third Sanhok match. With six finishes, MrIGL from Team Tamilas was named the game's MVP. Carnival Gaming scored 14 points as it kept up its pace. With 11 points, Hydra Esports finished in third place. With eight points apiece, Team Zero and iQOO Soul finished fourth and fifth, respectively. With zero points, Team XSpark, Orangutan, and Global Esports were eliminated early on.

Match 4: Erangel: With 30 points, 20 of which came from finishes, iQOO Soul won its third chicken feast of the day. With seven finishes, Rudra "Spower" from iQOO Soul earned the match's MVP. After a strong comeback, Team Aaru finished in second position with 14 points. Third-place Team Zero scored 11 points. In addition to making a comeback and scoring nine points apiece, WSB Gaming and Team XSpark finished fourth and fifth. With one point apiece, Carnival Gaming, Reckoning Esports, and Revenant Esports were eliminated.

Match 5: Miramar: With 19 points, Reckoning Esports won a chicken dinner comeback. With five finishes, Reckoning Esports' Viper earned the match's MVP. After displaying aggressive gameplay and earning 16 points, 10 of which came from finishes, Carnival Gaming emerged in second. With 11 points apiece, iQOO Soul and Team Tamilas finished third and fourth, respectively. WSB Gaming earned six points, all from finishes, and finished in fifth position. With one point apiece, Hyderabad Hydras and Team Zero were eliminated early.

Godlike Esports won a 28-point chicken meal in Match 6 Sanhok. With ten solo finishes, Godlike Esports' Jonathan "Jonathan" Amaral was the game's MVP. With 14 points, Team Tamilas finished in second place. Hyderabad Hydras scored ten points and finished third. With six points apiece, Medal Esports and Orangutan finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Alibaba Raiders only needed one point to be eliminated early.
