PGL Wallachia Season 2 is an offline Dota 2 tournament taking place at PGL Studio, Bucharest. The tournament started on 4th October 2024 and will conclude on 13th October 2024 and 16 teams are participating. This event boasts a massive prize pool of $1,000,000 USD. Lets go through the details of this tournament.

Format

Group Stage of this event will be held from 4th to 9th October, 2024. There is one modified swiss-system consisting of sixteen teams. All matches will be played in best of three series.Top eight teams will advance to the playoffs. Remaining teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs will be held from 10th to 13th October, 2024 and double-elimination bracket will be applicable. All matches will be played in best of three series except the Grand Final.

Grand Final will be played in best of five series.

In the upcoming matches, L1GA TEAM will compete against beastcoast, Nouns Esports will play against MOUZ, AVULUS will compete against Invictus Gaming, Azure Ray will play against Tundra Esports and Alliance will compete against Natus Vincere.

Prize Pool

The event boasts a substantial prizepool of $1,000,000 USD with the following distribution:

The champion will take home $300,000.

The team securing the second place will receive $175,000.

The third place holder team will get $120,000.

The team securing the fourth place will receive $80,000.
